“Nobody ever trained me for this year’s Rosh Hashana….”
“I could never have imagined that life would be so difficult for so many. “ I’m constantly inundated with requests from families who’ve never needed help before; unemployment, restriction of movement and lockdown is taking a terrible toll, especially on the young and the vulnerable.
So many needy will be suffering on Rosh Hashanah, Monday night, the 6th of September. How can they celebrate when children don’t have the essentials most take for granted? These parents can’t even provide food and clothing.
But I have some excellent news!
Despite the hardship of lockdown, this year’s Rosh Hashanah and the ensuing festivals can be a turning point and become the best start of any year in our lives to date. This is as true for me as it is for you.
What could be a greater beginning to the New Year than having the poor and needy praising and blessing Hashem and you for your great kindness?
Together we can transform the lives of these suffering families.
Let this act of charity be a blessing for you and your family for a happy, healthy, and sweet New Year.
